“The Scenery” is a representational sculpture. The artist used soap (Perla)  as his medium for the artwork. The piece is a representation of a beautiful scene in the nature featuring a deer. When the pandemic started we were somewhat forced to stay at home which limits our contact with the outside world. The pieces aims to portray the scenery which we could’ve experienced if the pandemic didn’t happen.

The artist also misses going outside and experience a wonderful scene with his own eyes. So, the artist came up with the idea of just making an artwork that portrays the nature that he wants to see. The artist aims to encourage everyone to be patient and please stay at home . We all want to go outside but we just have to wait until it is not dangerous anymore.

The piece aims to help the audience to reduce their stress because of the pandemic. It can help encourage the audience to stay at home and don’t go outside if it ain’t necessary. The artwork aims to fill the void in the hearts of the audience because of being unable to witness the scenery with their own eyes.

The artwork aims to help convince the citizens to stay in their homes to reduce the number of Covid 19 cases. We all miss the outside world but we just have to be patient until everything comes back to normal. The piece wants to convince the people their patience will be rewarded when the pandemic ends. Stay at home and limit going outside.
